The most important reason for the tremendous reduction in Computer Science
enrollment is the decline in availability of high paying Computer Science jobs. Therefore,
the only way to get students back into Computer Science is to ensure that the skills and
knowledge they receive will be useful to them in finding jobs. Computer Science
curricula have not changed significantly in the last couple of decades.
This fact requires urgent changes in the organization of the current computer
science curriculums.
