Instalasi winmodem PC-TEL di Linux

Sebagai pembaca InfoLinux yang setia penulis melihat bahwa informasi mengenai modem internal, khususnya modem untuk notebook/desknote sangat minim. InfoLinux telah mengulas berbagai macam perangkat keras yang telah di"cap" {\it Linux Ready} seperti notebook, desknote, desktop dan perangkat keras lainnya. Namun dari pengamatan penulis pada ulasan mengenai produk komputer yang memiliki modem internal khususnya pada notebook dan desknote semua produk yang telah {\it Linux Ready} belum dapat menjalankan modemnya. Alasan tersebut yang melatarbelakangi penulis untuk sekedar berbagi pengalaman dalam mengkonfigurasi modem internal
